Unit 5 Schedule
2013-2014
The following schedule information was prepared at the beginning of the
unit. It is not fixed in stone. It's
role is to serve as an organizational tool for
students to find both required and helpful resources relevant to daily
activities. The schedule is seldom updated as the unit progresses; if
we fall behind, then topics or depth of topics will be reduced in order
to keep the overall pace required to maximize coverage of the entire
curriculum.
Day 1: Wednesday, October 30
|
|
Lesson
Plan:
- Collect MOPs: SM8 and SM9
- Introduce light interference; relate to sound
interference (Lab S11); show two point source interference patterns (video, etc.)
- Do Lab L1 of Unit 5 - Ripple Tank Patterns
- Collect Lab Notebooks

Homework:
|
|
Announcements:
- Unit 5 represents our last unit pertaining to waves, sound and
light. It is a short unit which focuses on the wavelike natureof
light and the effect of varying frequency upon color perception.
