Unit 10 Schedule
2013 - 2014


The following schedule information was prepared at the beginning of the unit.  It is not fixed in stone. It's role is to serve as an organizational tool for students to find both required and helpful resources relevant to daily activities. The schedule is seldom updated as the unit progresses; if we fall behind, then topics or depth of topics will be reduced in order to keep the overall pace required to maximize coverage of the entire curriculum.


Monday, February 24

Lesson Plan:
  • Any Unit 9 MOP Codes? (first call)
  • Start Unit 10 - discuss vectors, forces, force components, equilibrium; selected Qs from pp. 1-4 (quickly)
  • Do selected problems from pp. 5-6 (like #1, #3)
  • Do Lab SE7 - Coulomb's Hair Lab

Homework:
  • Prepare for Unit 9 Test

Announcements:
  • FYI: Unit 10 has a short MOP module (~3 assignments) and several short WebAssign problem sets. The unit will end in ~8 days.
  • There is a Unit 9 Test tomorrow

  • Check Reading Guide; Fnet = m•a with Vector Applications
  • Equilibrium: do p. 4, Q#5-6 (as time allows)
  • Lab VF3 - Sign Hanging Lab

  • Unit 10 has a short MOP module (~3 assignments) and several short WebAssign problem sets. The unit will end in ~8 days.
  • Bring your calculator everyday and prepare to do the SOHCAHTOA!
